A lifetime in building: My journey and passion
My journey in construction began decades ago, spanning a wide range of projects across New Zealand. From contributing to some of NZ's largest infrastructure projects with civil construction companies to meticulously building houses from the ground up for individual clients, my experience is vast. I have embraced roles as self-employed tradie, hands-on builder, and held supervisory and management positions in large construction firms.
What truly drives me is the creative aspect of construction: taking a client's vision and transforming it into something tangible and fit for purpose that meets my clients needs. I am detail-oriented and committed to exceeding client expectations on every single project.
Showcasing my skills: Projects I am proud of
I have had the privilege of working on an incredible variety of projects. I am proud of my contributions to some of NZ's largest infrastructure projects, such as the Britomart train station, demonstrating my capability for large-scale, complex work. Equally, I cherish the satisfaction gained from simple design-and-build projects, like creating elegant fences and garden beds.
My portfolio also includes the construction of bathrooms and kitchens with high-end finishes, as well as entire houses. I also do budget friendly bathrooms and kitchens including flat packs. The sense of accomplishment that comes from a job well done, and the genuine happiness of a satisfied client, are what truly define my achievements.
